Radiology Bridge: images from the institute straight into the PACS
An institute takes the images, a practice ordered them. Radiology Bridge routes the images automatically into the practice's PACS, no CD, no portal, no chasing. The institute keeps its own PACS or RIS.
Cloud PACS is your own archive in the Unomed cloud. Radiology Bridge connects a PACS you already run, so your studies land in the Unomed PACS of the practices you work for. Both are open to practices, clinics and institutes, separately or together.

Bridge is paid for by the institute that sends. Two models, the same service, only the billing differs.

You can switch between Basic and Pro at any time. On the practice side it takes a Unomed PACS that receives outside images, from the Advanced package up.
For practices and referrers
You send patients for imaging and then wait for the CD?
With Bridge, your patients' images arrive in your Unomed PACS as soon as the institute is done. Matched to the right patient, no importing, no portal login. You do nothing, except look at the images.

- What your institute needs
- Radiology Bridge. For the institute that means a small connector on a PC, its PACS stays, and a cost from CHF 1 per study. It is usually quick to explain.

Then Bridge is the way. You keep your PACS or RIS, whoever made it, and send from it straight into the practice's Unomed PACS. No CDs to burn, no referrer portal of your own to run.
What happens on your side

Install
We install the Unomed Cloud Connector on a PC or virtual server on your premises. Nothing changes about your PACS or RIS.

In your PACS you add Unomed as a send destination, like a second printer.

Assign
You set once which practice gets which images. After that it runs by itself.
You can serve as many practices as you like; the price stays the same.

For practices
Does my institute have to move to Unomed?
No. The institute keeps its PACS. Bridge is only the connection to it.
Who pays for Bridge?
Normally the institute. If you want to cover the cost for your own studies, that works too.
How do I convince my institute?
Usually this is enough: "I want my images straight into my PACS, without a CD. It costs you CHF 1 per study, and Unomed sets it up." Or give us the contact and we call them.
What if I already have a PACS of my own?
Then we forward the images there. You still need a Unomed PACS as the transit point. Talk to us and we go through your case with you.
For institutes
What do we have to install?
The Unomed Cloud Connector, on a PC or virtual server on your premises. Everything is configured in the browser.
Can we serve several practices?
Yes. You set per practice which images it gets. The price stays the same.
Can I switch between Basic and Pro?
Yes, at any time and in both directions.
Does Bridge Pro charge per study?
No. The annual price covers everything.
How long am I committed for?
Basic: cancel any time. Pro: one year, cancelled annually.
Where is the data kept?
In Swiss data centres, encrypted, compliant with the Swiss FADP and the GDPR.
